Our values are guided by the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) and our services are created with the Washington Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA) policies and procedures in mind. We are committed to providing high-quality, person-centered services that align with these standards to ensure the best outcomes for our clients.
Transportation can be provided.
Guides can meet clients at CVan drop off points.
At Stella’s Chance, we offer a variety of activities designed to connect our clients with their interests and the community. All activity days are flexible and subject to change. We would love to hear from you too! What exciting things would you like to do?
Pick Your Activities & Adventures
Harmony and Hooves:
Enjoy the company of beautiful horses. Grooming, leading and helping around the barn and ranch. Feeding the horses. No additional fees. This activity is not horsemanship lesson. Please check this page for horsemanship.

Sundays 10am -1pm - Brush Prairie Farm
Nature Quest:
Explore the great outdoors. Hikes in our nearby county and state parks.
Tuesdays 10 am - 2 pm
Saturdays 12pm-5pm 2nd and 4th Saturday per month
Move and Groove:
Stay active with dynamic games and activities. Focused on fun fitness for body and mind. Could involve things such as board games, swimming, weightlifting, yoga, dance classes. Sky zone, bowling and putt putt golf. Entrance fees vary between $0 to $25.
Surprise Activity - 3pm-7pm Tuesdays
Zumba Class - 5:30-6:30 Wednesdays - Battle Ground $10
Open Gym Fun - 6:00 pm- 8:00 pm Thursdays - Tukes Valley Middle School $5
Artful Afternoons:
Engage in creative expression with fun art and craft projects. This will include group art activities facilitated by Stella’s Chance or special public events such as paint night or taking a pottery class. Material fees will vary from $5-$25
Thursdays 12pm-6pm
Morning at the Movies:
Enjoy the movies with popcorn and friends on the 4th Sunday of each month.
One Saturday per month 10am-2pm - Fee $12-24 depending on snacks
City Slickers:
Variety of different events in our nearby cities.

We believe in the transformative power of these experiences to enhance well-being, foster connections, and create lasting memories. Join us in these enriching activities and discover the joy of community engagement at Stella’s Chance.
Many of our activities are flexible and can be tailored to 1:1 sessions, small groups, or larger gatherings with our Guides. Personalized activity needs can be scheduled, and we can accompany you to classes or other pre-scheduled activities you would like to attend.

Community Engagement
Services are available that introduce and connect clients to community supports, resources, and activities. These services are designed to help clients fully access their community for daily living needs or to reduce social isolation.
What are some examples of this service?
• Get connected to your community through classes. You could learn cooking, pottery, dance, sign language, exercise, yoga and more.
• Connect with people in your community who share similar interests.
• Pursue community goals such as volunteering.
• Community Engagement can help you reach goals. Learning about managing finances and meeting new people can help increase independence.
Virtual activities can be a fun alternative as well.
The DDA pays at the rate of $34.72
Participants are responsible for any additional activity fees. Clients can bring their own cash, or funds can be invoiced to the client at the first of the month for upcoming activities.

Respite in the Community
Our respite outings are all about adventure and exploring new interests and passions. We work hard to plan unique and engaging activities that will keep our clients happy and making memories.

DDA pays $21.80 per hour for Respite Services; Participants are responsible for any additional activity fees. Clients can bring their own cash, or funds can be invoiced to the client at the first of the month for upcoming activities.

Specialized Habilitation

Our specialized habilitation programs encompass individualized supports for clients to learn or maintain identified life skills. We are dedicated to helping clients achieve their personal goals and improve their quality of life through tailored, person-centered services.
Examples of Specialized Habilitation Services Include (not limited to):
Building self-esteem and confidence
Developing strengths and weaknesses to handle daily problems
Safely using social media or the internet
Learning how to problem-solve situations involving inappropriate peer pressure
Developing other social skills necessary to maximize integration into the community and/or home environment
How to handle missing the bus
DDA Pays $70 per hour for Specialized Habilitation services. Any activity fees are paid by the participant. Clients can bring their own cash, or funds can be invoiced to the client at the first of the month for upcoming activities.
