Instructor / GuideI have been passionate about horses since I was 11, when my cousin moved her horse to my house. I started owning horses at 16 and have been deeply involved in their care ever since. I have served in mounted patrol for two seasons and plan to continue for a third. Currently, I help care for 10 horses. I enjoy continually learning and expanding my knowledge about these magnificent animals.
Horses are important to me for many reasons. They contribute significantly to my mental health. With dedication and effort, you can build a strong bond with a horse, creating a unique and rewarding relationship. Being with horses requires you to be present in the moment, providing a sense of freedom and grounding simultaneously. The connection you develop while riding and the bond you build is truly unique. Additionally, horses are beautiful, enjoyable to spend time with, and fun to ride.
At Stella's Chance, we are deeply passionate about working with individuals across all age groups, including challenged youth and those with intellectual, physical disabilities, and mental health conditions. We firmly believe in the positive impact horses can have on an individual's life, fostering their growth and learning.

Director / Instructor / GuideSince starting my teaching and coaching career in 2004, I've had the joy of guiding countless students in developing foundational skills, mastering new techniques, and advancing confidently in their horsemanship journey. Teaching and learning aren't just passions for me—they're a way of life. With over 30 years of professional experience, I'm dedicated to continuously enhancing my knowledge to offer the best support and instructional services to my clients. My tailored approach ensures that I can help you grow and achieve your goals, no matter your skill level.
My aim is to design horsemanship programs that spark each learner's enthusiasm and eagerness to engage with these magnificent creatures. I strive to create programs that allow all participants, regardless of their previous experience with horses, to deepen their understanding and boost their confidence through not just riding, but also by forging meaningful connections with the horses. I teach at the pace of each student, using fundamental natural horsemanship principles and a progressive methodology to help learners gradually develop their horsemanship skills and riding confidence.
Since 2017 I have been certified as a WA Behavior Technician. I understand and implement the principles of ABA therapy.
